Ellen Goodman
was scheduled to be the guest speaker at the Tiger Bay
Annual Dinner on January 10th, 2009 at the Oceanside
Country Club. January 10th was a seriously bad weather
day in the Charlotte, NC area and many airports had to
close including the one Ellen was flying out of to get
down to Daytona Beach. And so, Ellen was not able to get
here for our Annual Dinner. We were all looking forward
to meeting her. But lo and behold, Mark Lane, editor
from the News-Journal came to
the rescue and our meeting turned out to be great. He
did a fabulous job! Kudos, Mark! |
